If you're looking to be a little bit of a cycling adventure, then the Central Otago Rail Trail is the place that you want to be. The trail starts just up the road at the Clyde Rail Heads and travels through to Middlemarch. The entire trail is approximately 152Km long and travels slightly uphill to the Oturehua hill from Clyde. (Approximately 612m above sea level, a charge of about 400 vertical meters).

If you are looking for something a little faster with a bit more adrenaline, then Highlands Motorsport Park is only 20 minutes up the road.
Highlands is more than just a motorsport track. There are many activities available for the whole family. Go-karts, dirt buggy track, the dinosaur park and the transport museum. If you're feeling really adventurous, you could try a hot lap with one of the professional drivers. One thing is for sure, you won't be disappointed.
There are a significant number of walking tracks in the area. The Walk Around Historic Clyde, Lake Roxburgh to Doctors Point, the Shaky Bridge walk, the 150th Anniversary Walk and of course Flat Top Hill. For more information follow the link below.
